Your cancellation rights for digital content, and how we handle non-delivery and faulty or misdescribed software.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains your rights when you buy from Rocket Accounting as a consumer in the UK. It does not affect your statutory rights.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.
If you cancel after we have sent your delivery email, please stop using the licence and remove the software. We may deactivate or withdraw licence details that have been cancelled.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, contact us and we will:
Examples include a licence that does not work for the edition we described, the wrong edition or region being sent, or a licence we cannot replace. Please read the legacy software guide: limitations we have clearly described, such as the end of Intuit support and the lack of MTD VAT submission, are part of the product description.
If we cannot deliver your order, we will refund you in full.
If you ordered the wrong edition, contact us before using the licence. If we have not yet sent the delivery email we can switch or cancel the order. After delivery, we will consider your request but are not required to exchange correctly supplied content.
Email contact@rocketaccounting.uk or use the contact form, giving your name, order number and the reason. You can also use this statement: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following digital content: [edition], ordered on [date], order number [number].
We refund to the original payment method in pounds sterling. We will process refunds without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to one.
If you are unhappy, contact us first. You may also seek advice from Citizens Advice.
